The Gondola

W. San Juan Ave., Telluride, CO 81435

The main method of transportation from Telluride to Mountain Village is the free gondola, which is the red line on the map. You can access the gondola from either town at the Telluride Station or the Mountain Village Center Station in Mountain Village. The ride takes 13 minutes. There is one stop in the middle, at San Sophia station. This is where you will catch shuttles to our ceremony site.

There is a second gondola that runs from Mountain Village to Market Plaza Station.

While the gondolas are the primary mode of getting around, it is also fun just to ride as it offers great views!

Every fourth car is dog friendly, which you will see designated with black paws on the car.

Hiking

Picture of Hiking

Our favorite activity in Telluride is hiking! There are so many great options that are walkable from town.

1. Cornet Creek: Very short out-and-back hike with a nice waterfall at the end. The hardest part of this hike is walking up Aspen Street to the trailhead.

2. Jud Weibe: A cardio burner for sure, but fabulous views of town from the top. This hike is a 3-mile loop. Starts at the top of Aspen (over the bridge on the left).

3. Bear Creek Trail: Less elevation than Jud Weibe, but a longer, 4.5-mile out-and-back hike with an 80 foot waterfall at the end. You can stop at the large boulder, but if you have another 10 minutes in you, a must see waterfall awaits you at the top.

4. River Trail: This is a flat trail that starts in town and has great views. The trail has minimal elevation gain and is a 4 mile out-and-back trail.
