Transportation will be provided for all wedding activities in Telluride, so no car will be necessary. Telluride is very walkable (especially with comfortable shoes).

The closest regional airport is Montrose (MTJ). There are direct flights from Denver (Southwest and United), Dallas (American), and Chicago (American). This airport is about 1.5 hours from Telluride. We've arranged a 20% discount with Telluride Express, a shuttle service, for trips from MTJ to Telluride. Make sure to use code CHARLTON when booking on https://letsride.co/locations/telluride/. The discount can not be added after booking.

There are two regional airports 2.5 hours away: Grand Junction (GJT) and Durango (DRO). However, there is no shuttle to Telluride from these airports, so you would need to rent a car.

Denver (DIA) is a six-hour drive from Telluride, so this would require a car rental.

There is an airport in Telluride (TEX), but very few daily flights.

There are additional hotels in the town of Telluride, as well as AirBnB and VRBO options in both Telluride and Mountain Village. Please note that there is a free gondola that connects Mountain Village to Telluride (with a stop in the middle at Allred's, our reception site). The gondola, however, runs only until midnight, and not all housing in Mountain Village is within walking distance of the gondola.
